Manika Vishwakarma Crowned Miss Universe India 2025, To Represent India in Thailand

Jaipur, August 18, 2025 – In a glittering grand finale held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, Manika Vishwakarma from Sri Ganganagar was crowned Miss Universe India 2025. The coveted crown was passed on to her by last year’s winner, Rhea Singha, during a star-studded event that celebrated beauty, intelligence, and empowerment.

The competition saw Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh securing the first runner-up position, followed by Mehak Dhingra from Haryana as the second runner-up, and Amishi Kaushik as the third runner-up. With this win, Manika will now represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November.

 

Who is Manika Vishwakarma?

Manika, who currently lives in Delhi, is pursuing her final year in Political Science and Economics. Her journey to the national crown began when she won the Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024 title. Apart from her academic brilliance, she is a trained classical dancer, a skilled painter, and has proudly represented India at the BIMSTEC Sewocon, an initiative under the Ministry of External Affairs. She has also been honoured by the Lalit Kala Academy and the JJ School of Arts for her artistic talents.

Beyond her achievements in art and academics, Manika is deeply committed to advocacy. She is the founder of Neuronova, a platform that promotes awareness about neurodivergence. Her mission is to shift the perspective on conditions like ADHD, highlighting them as unique strengths rather than limitations.

Manika’s Words After Winning

Reflecting on her win, Manika expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“My journey started from my hometown, Ganganagar. I came to Delhi and prepared for the competition. Confidence and courage are what we must build within ourselves. This victory is not mine alone—it belongs to everyone who supported me. Competitions like this shape character and prepare us for life beyond the stage.”
