Royal Enfield Unveils Continental GT 750 Prototype: Race-Ready Powerhouse to Launch in 2026

Royal Enfield has taken the wraps off the much-anticipated Continental GT 750 prototype at EICMA 2025, alongside the Himalayan 750. The retro-inspired racer, carrying a “Testing in Progress” tag, marks the next big step in the brand’s performance line-up. The model will first be used for racing at next year’s Indian National Racing Championship (INRC) before heading toward production.

At its heart, the Continental GT 750 is powered by a new 750cc parallel-twin engine, expected to deliver around 54–55bhp and 65Nm of peak torque. However, since this is a race-spec prototype, the final power output could be even higher.

The prototype sits on an all-new chassis and sports a revised steering T, race-tuned Showa suspension, and twin front disc brakes for superior handling and braking. The suspension setup features telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks, ensuring a balanced ride both on the track and road.

Design-wise, the Continental GT 750 stays true to Royal Enfield’s classic café racer DNA. It flaunts a retro semi-fairing, sculpted fuel tank, and stubby tail section with tuck-and-roll seats. The bike rides on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in soft-compound tyres for maximum grip.

While the prototype is still under testing, Royal Enfield is expected to reveal more details at Motoverse 2025, with the final production version likely to debut at EICMA 2026. The official launch is expected around late 2026, positioning the Continental GT 750 as a thrilling addition to Royal Enfield’s modern classic line-up.
