Yamaha Motor India has launched the latest version of its popular streetfighter—the MT-15 Version 2.0, bringing significant updates without increasing the price. Surprisingly, this time Yamaha has made the bike more accessible by reducing the cost and offering it in two distinct variants: Standard (STD) and Deluxe (DLX).

The new MT-15 now comes in three striking new colours – Metallic Silver Cyan, Vivid Violet Metallic, and Ice Storm. While the Standard variant is equipped with an LCD digital cluster, the top-end Deluxe trim borrows the TFT instrument display from the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid, offering Bluetooth connectivity and app-based features such as:
- Fuel consumption tracking
- Maintenance reminders
- Parking location
- Malfunction notifications
Mechanically, the motorcycle retains its 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 18.4 bhp and 14.1 Nm of torque – the same engine that powers the fully-faired Yamaha R15. The bike also continues with its Deltabox frame, USD front forks, and monoshock rear suspension.
