The legendary Kinetic Honda brand has made a grand comeback in India’s electric mobility space with the launch of its new DX electric scooter. Reviving nostalgic memories of the 80s and 90s, the Kinetic DX blends retro styling with modern electric performance.

Launched on July 28, 2025, the DX is available in two variants—Standard and DX+, priced at ₹1.11 lakh and ₹1.17–1.18 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
The scooter is powered by a 2.6 kWh LFP battery and a 4.8 kW hub-mounted motor, delivering a top speed of 80–90 km/h and a range of up to 116 km (IDC). With its Cruise Lock mode, users can extend the range to around 150 km.
Design-wise, the DX sports a full-metal body, LED lighting, 12-inch wheels, and a retro-modern silhouette. It also features a large 37-litre under-seat storage space—the biggest in its segment.
On the tech front, the scooter comes equipped with an 8.8-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, reverse mode, hill-hold assist, regenerative braking, cruise control, and voice-guided navigation (DX+ only). The premium DX+ model also includes the “Telekinetic” suite for vehicle tracking, OTA updates, anti-theft alerts, and geo-fencing.
With a 3-year/30,000 km warranty (extendable to 9 years), the Kinetic DX enters the Indian e-scooter market as a strong competitor to models like the TVS iQube, Ola S1, Ather Rizta, and Hero Vida V1.
